For the 9th Edition the art collective Alpine Gothic presented "MXTX" at MUME. MXTX is an interactive performance in public space that deals with encountering the unknown and overcoming fears.In a mobile, showcase-like structure that is positioned near the Weltmuseum, a performer in a hybrid costume that is reminiscent of Tyrolean Spiegeltuxer as well as Mexican feather crowns interprets "gestures of defense" that are made available to her by passers-by but also digitally and which she translates into possible movement patterns of ritualized interaction.
