ONE DAY (2011)
In The Endless Cicle curated by Carmen Cebreros, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City

"One Day" relies on the immediacy and ambiguity of journalistic language to construct an apocalyptic story with three different focal points: violence, eroticism, and religious fervor. The falsity of the document is clear, yet it still refers to the preeminent medium for factual communication: the newspaper. The installation view corresponds to Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City. Photo: Agustin Estrada
